What are retrofit kits?
A retrofit system is a system designed to add a new technology or a new functionality to an outdated standard system, so as to make it more efficient or with the aim of extending the period of use. A retrofit system is useful, for example, in the event that it is necessary to proceed with the energy requalification of one’s industrial machines and construction site vehicles, to transform them from petrol to electric vehicles. The conversion takes place using an approved kit (the retrofit kit, in fact) installed by a specialized mechanic.
Tecnoter retrofit kits
Each kit designed by Tecnoter is specifically designed to equip the host machine and is the result of in-depth studies of compatibility and hydraulic and electronic efficiency.
Each kit is equipped with an installation and spare parts identification manual, user manual and CE certification (as well as certifications required by current Italian legislation) and is supplied with safety components such as block valves, overload sensors, recognition of the operator and alarm. Another great advantage is the TcConnect online assistance service, which puts the customer in contact with assistance quickly at any time of the year, for 24-hour solutions.
Each Tecnoter kit can be produced in three different variants and also cooperating with the technical and engineering offices of the customer or the machine manufacturer.
The series of retrofit kits available are:
SERIES O
“Original Type”: designed to allow the interchangeability of each single Tecnoter component with the equivalent original component. This series is particularly appreciated by dealers and importers who prefer total product homogeneity without increasing the spare parts warehouse and keeping the original layout of the machines sold unchanged.
SERIES N
“High Quality”: the most requested series. Built using the best materials and the most sophisticated components, it combines high quality at a more competitive cost than the O series.
E SERIES
“Best Price”: expressly designed and built to considerably contain costs while maintaining high quality and superior hydraulic efficiency. Series particularly appreciated in markets characterized by very high competitiveness and emerging economies.
M SERIES
Military target for applications in the field of defense and civil protection.
